The Welding program at Atlanta ISD is a hands-on, skills-based pathway designed for students who are ready to build a strong foundation in metalwork and fabrication. Through this program, students gain real-world experience in welding techniques and safety while working toward industry-recognized certifications, preparing them for careers in welding and related fields.

In addition to classroom and shop instruction, students put their skills to the test by competing in Ag Mechanics contests across the state. These competitions challenge students to showcase their craftsmanship, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise.

Whether you're looking to jumpstart a career in welding or sharpen your skills in fabrication, the Welding program provides the training and opportunities to spark a bright future!
