TEXAR Makes Donation to AHS Golf Team

The Atlanta High School golf program would like to thank Mr. Kevin Sherman of Texar Federal Credit Union for graciously gifting the program with a $300 check. According to Adams, the teams plan to use these monies to better the program by purchasing practice equipment such as practice golf balls, target nets, and other instructional resources. 

"Golf is a game that can be played throughout the span of life,” stated Adams. “ With the support of our community, we can ensure that these athletes have the best opportunity to gain knowledge and the ability to play starting now."
