Atlanta Debate Team Competes

The Atlanta Debate Team went to Elysian Fields Thursday, September 30, and out of 15 rounds won 12 in Novice CX debate.  This includes Ivy Alfaro, Braylie Durmon, Carlos Cortes, Tanner Cook, Michael Dubussion, Kennedy Harrison, Daisa Jewffley, Camden Baur, Emma Lanier, and Autumn Cook.  Ivy, Braylie, Emma, and Autumn went on to compete at Hallsville Saturday, October 2 in Policy Debate, going against varsity.  Emma and Autumn finished 12th out of 28 while Ivy and Bryalie finished 17th, this is their 3rd debate ever!  Michael Dubuission competed in Congressional Debate for the first time and finished 5th overall. Congratulations to these fine young men and women!
