DECA Students Advance to State

Deca's district competition was a little different this year. Atlanta Deca is part of district 6 which includes multiple schools such as Linden, Hughes Springs, Mount Pleasant, Jefferson, Mabank and Texarkana. Students compete in different areas of business such as hospitality & tourism, management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance. Normally, district competition takes place at Region 8 with judges from these areas of business, but this year students competed virtually via video presentation.
