Anglers Compete at Divisional Tournament at Lake Bob Sandlin

Posted Date: 03/10/2022

Saturday, March 5, 2022, the AHS Fishing Team completed in the final Divisional Tournament on Lake Bob Sandlin.   They had two teams competing in the tournament. Carson Dillinger and Justin Pierce turned in 5 fish with a total weight of 12.07# placing them 15th.  Maximus Addington fished solo and turned in 4 fish with a total weight of 8.27# placing him 35th.

Both of these teams qualify for the Regional Tournament. You must finish in the top 50% in points overall or have won 1st at a single tournament.  This year there are 71 places going.

Carson Dillinger and Justin Pierce finished the year in 13th place overall (3 short of being invited to the Angler of the Year tournament) and had a 1st place finish.  Both of these qualify them.

Maximus Addington finished the year in 50th place overall qualifying him.

The Regional Tournament returns them to Lake Palestine on Apr 9, 2022 where 3 of the nine divisions will complete:  Northeast, East, and Central.  A finish in the top 40% at regionals will qualify teams to move on to the State Tournament.

Well done Carson, Justin & Maximus.
