Atlanta High School

The National Honor Society is chartered under the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Membership is a privilege granted by the faculty to those students whose service, scholarship, leadership and character are exemplary.

Requirements for National Honor Society:

• 4.4 Overall GPA on a 5.0 scale
• Fill out form defining all student activities, leadership areas and any community service activities (Forms must be turned in on time to be considered.)
• Faculty Approval and five-member faculty board votes on the acceptance of membership.
• No student will be recommended for NHS if he/she has been in ISS or DAEP for the year of recommendation.
