I am beginning my 21st  year at Atlanta High School. I taught English for 10 years and also coached Cheerleading and UIL Literary Criticism. I spent 5 years as the AHS Assistant Principal and am in my 6^th year as the AHS Principal.

I have been married to Mark Rinehart for 24 years. We have two children:  Matthew who graduated from Atlanta High School and now attends San Houston State University and Rebecca who is a senior at AHS and is a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of the Varsity Golf team. 

I love to participate in outdoor activities, reading and singing. I am a member of First Baptist Church where I teach Sunday School, teach Children’s Choir and sing in the First Praise Choir.
